My handmade process is rooted in observation, intention, and deep respect for natural forms. I begin with walks where I collect fallen branches, seed pods, or other organic fragments. Each piece becomes a quiet collaborator in my studio.
Using hand-building techniques like coiling and pinching, I shape clay vessels specifically designed to hold these natural elements. No molds, no repetitions—each form responds to the unique shape and gesture of what it will contain. I often leave surfaces unglazed or partially raw to highlight the contrast between the earthy materials and the refined structure of the ceramic. The entire process is slow and intuitive, honoring imperfection and embracing transformation.
